Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 14, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern services provided by Bright Home Service, a brand of Bright Infinity LLC ("Bright Home Service," "we," "us," or "our") to customers ("Customer," "you," or "your").

By requesting, scheduling, approving, or accepting our services, you agree to these Terms, together with any written estimate, work order, service agreement, or other applicable agreement provided for your project.

1. Services

Bright Home Service provides residential and other permitted assembly and installation services, which may include:

Services offered may vary by location, product, property, and project requirements.

We reserve the right to decline a project that is outside our experience, equipment capabilities, legal authority, insurance requirements, or service scope.

2. Estimates and Pricing

Estimates are based on the information available to us at the time the estimate is prepared.

An estimate may change if:

Any material change in scope or price should be communicated to the Customer before additional work is performed, subject to applicable law.

3. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer is responsible for:

The Customer should inspect products and components before installation and notify us of any visible damage or missing components.

4. Customer-Provided Products

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Customer is responsible for purchasing and providing the furniture, equipment, fixtures, hardware, and other products to be assembled or installed.

Bright Home Service is not responsible for:

If a product cannot reasonably be assembled or installed because of missing, defective, incompatible, or damaged components, we may stop work until the issue is resolved.

5. Pre-Existing Damage

The Customer acknowledges that furniture, walls, floors, doors, ceilings, and other property may have pre-existing defects, weaknesses, damage, or conditions that are not visible before work begins.

Where reasonably practical, Bright Home Service may document existing damage before beginning work.

We are not responsible for damage that existed before our arrival or for damage caused by defects, weaknesses, or conditions that could not reasonably have been detected before work began.

6. Wall Mounting and Installation

For services involving walls, ceilings, studs, anchors, brackets, shelving, mirrors, televisions, or other mounted items, installation depends on the underlying structure and materials.

The Customer should disclose known information regarding:

Bright Home Service will use reasonable care when performing the requested service but cannot guarantee the location or condition of concealed utilities or structural components that cannot reasonably be identified.

Where appropriate, the Customer may be required to approve the proposed mounting location before work begins.

7. Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, and Specialized Work

Bright Home Service does not perform work outside its authorized service scope.

Unless specifically stated in writing and legally permitted, our services do not include:

If a project requires a licensed specialty contractor or permit, we may recommend that the Customer engage an appropriately licensed professional.

8. Changes to the Scope of Work

Additional work requested after the original scope has been approved may result in additional charges.

Where required, changes to a home-improvement contract must be documented in writing before the additional work begins. California CSLB guidance specifically recommends written change orders for changes in scope, materials, price, or completion date.

9. Appointment Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled based on availability.

Customers should provide accurate contact information and be available to provide property access at the agreed appointment time.

If the Customer is unavailable or the property cannot be accessed, a cancellation, rescheduling, or trip charge may apply if disclosed in the applicable booking or service agreement.

10. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Customers should provide reasonable notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.

Any cancellation or rescheduling fee will be disclosed before or at the time the appointment is confirmed.

Nothing in this section limits any cancellation or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

For California home-improvement contracts, applicable cancellation requirements and notices may apply depending on the nature and circumstances of the transaction.

11. Payment

Payment terms may be provided in the applicable estimate, booking confirmation, invoice, or service agreement.

Accepted payment methods may include:

Any required deposit, progress payment, or final payment will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

For California home-improvement projects subject to CSLB requirements, payment schedules and deposits are subject to specific legal restrictions. CSLB currently states that a down payment generally cannot exceed $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less.

12. Inspection and Completion

Upon completion, the Customer should inspect the assembled or installed item.

The Customer should notify Bright Home Service promptly if there is a concern regarding the work performed.

Where appropriate, we may request the Customer's confirmation that the agreed scope of work has been completed.

13. Manufacturer Instructions and Warranty

Bright Home Service is not the manufacturer of the products we assemble or install.

Manufacturer warranties, if any, are provided by the product manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer's terms.

Our service does not modify or replace a manufacturer's warranty unless expressly stated in writing.

14. Furniture and Product Safety

The Customer is responsible for following applicable manufacturer safety instructions after assembly or installation.

Where required or recommended by the manufacturer, the Customer should use appropriate anti-tip devices, wall anchors, safety straps, brackets, or other safety equipment.

Bright Home Service may recommend safety equipment when appropriate, but the Customer remains responsible for following manufacturer safety instructions and maintaining the assembled or installed product.

15. Property Access and Working Conditions

The Customer must provide a reasonably safe working environment.

Bright Home Service may postpone or decline work if conditions present a significant safety risk, including:

Additional charges may apply for extraordinary preparation or cleanup if agreed upon in advance.

16. Photos and Documentation

Bright Home Service may take photographs of the work area or completed work for documentation, quality-control, estimating, or dispute-resolution purposes.

We will not use identifiable customer photographs for public advertising or promotional purposes without appropriate permission.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bright Home Service will be responsible for direct damages caused by our negligent performance of the services.

We are not responsible for losses arising from:

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive liability that cannot legally be waived or limited.

18. Insurance

Any insurance coverage maintained by Bright Home Service is subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limits of the applicable insurance policy.

Nothing in these Terms creates insurance coverage beyond the actual policy terms.

19. Independent Contractors and Subcontractors

Bright Home Service may, where appropriate and legally permitted, use qualified employees, independent contractors, or subcontractors to perform certain services.

Any person performing work on behalf of Bright Home Service must comply with applicable laws and the agreed scope of work.

20. Compliance With California Law

Bright Home Service will perform services in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Certain home-improvement work in California is subject to Contractors State License Board requirements. CSLB states that licensing requirements can depend on factors including the nature of the work, permits, employee labor, and the value of the project.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to authorize Bright Home Service to perform work for which a license, permit, registration, or other authorization is required unless Bright Home Service has the appropriate authorization.

21. Disputes

If you have a concern about our services, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the issue promptly and professionally.

Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable federal, California, and local law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or applicable laws.

The updated version will be posted on this website with a revised Effective Date.
